Pantry items, grocery lists, and recipes are shared with other members of your household within the app. This sharing is core to the app's functionality. You control who is in your household via the invite system.

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which employs industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or business purposes. Usage events and anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 2 years to improve the app.
You can view and update your profile information at any time within the app under Profile → Edit Profile.
You can turn off expiry notifications, freezer reminders, and pantry audit reminders at any time under Profile → Notifications, or through your device's notification settings.
You can delete your account by contacting us at hello@rypeiq.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

RypeIQ is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at hello@rypeiq.com and we will delete the information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of RypeIQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
